In compliance with Italian Legislative Decree 30 June 2003 no. 196 (Privacy Code) and with
the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) no. 2016/679 (GDPR), we hereby provide you
with information on the processing of your personal data. The privacy policy is not valid for
other websites consulted via links found on the internet website domain of the controller,
which is thus not considered in any way liable for internet websites of third parties.

Personal and identification data
Personal data means any information relating to a natural person, identified or identifiable,
even indirectly, by reference to any other information, therein including a personal
identification number; identification data means personal data allowing for the direct
identification of the data subject (such as, by way of example, name, surname, date of
birth, address, e-mail address, telephone number, etc…).

Browsing data
The computer systems and software procedures that enable this website to function
acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission are implicit
in the use of internet communication protocols. This is information that is not collected to
be associated with identified data subjects but which, by its very nature, may, through
processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This
category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of computers used by people who
connect to the website, addresses in URI notation (Uniform Resource Identifier) of the
requested resources, time of the request, method used for submitting the request to the
server, size of the file obtained in response, numerical code indicating the status of the
response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the
user's operating system and IT environment.

Defence in court
Your Personal Data may be used for the Controller's defence in court or in phases
preparatory to the establishment of any proceedings, due to misuse of the same or the
related services by you. The data may be used to ascertain liability in the case of
hypothetical computer crimes in detriment to the website.

Your Personal Data may be processed using different methods and for additional purposes
linked to maintenance.

Data provided voluntarily by you
The optional, explicit and voluntary transmission of e-mail to the addresses indicated on
this website and/or the compilation of data collection forms found in the “Contacts” area,
involves the subsequent acquisition of the sender's address, required to respond to
requests, as well as any other personal data entered.

Specific information
Specific information may be presented on the Website pages in relation to particular
services or processing of Data provided by you or by the Data Subject.

Data of personal nature voluntarily provided will be processed for the following purposes,
until any objection:
• for browsing on this internet website;
• to send information requests to the email addresses found on the website Home Page
and in the “Contacts” area and to receive a response from SCOTSMAN ICE Srl;
• administrative-accounting activity in general. For the purposes of applying the personal
data protection rules, the processing performed for administrative-accounting purposes
is connected to the conduct of activities of organisational, administrative, financial and
accounting nature, irrespective of the nature of the processed data; in particular,
internal organisational activities, those functional to the fulfilment of contractual and
pre-contractual obligations and informative activities pursue those purposes.

The processing will be performed in automated and/or electronic and/or paper form, using
methods and tools aimed at guaranteeing the maximum security and confidentiality, by
persons specifically instructed in compliance with the provisions of the cited regulations.
The data will be stored for a period not exceeding the purposes for which the data were
collected and subsequently processed and, in any case, for no more than ten years.
Your data, subject to processing, will not be disseminated: they may, on the other hand, be
communicated to companies contractually connected to SCOTSMAN ICE Srl, in conformity
with and within the limits of the cited regulations.

Except for what is specified for browsing data, you are free to provide your personal data.
The provision of personal data by sending information requests to the e-mail addresses
indicated on the website is necessary to finalise the sending of requests and to receive a
response from the processing Controller. Any failure to provide personal data may involve
the impossibility of obtaining information from SCOTSMAN ICE Srl.

In your capacity as data subject, in accordance with Art. 7 Privacy Code and Art. 15 GDPR,
you have the right to:
• obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you has been
processed, even if not yet registered, and its communication in intelligible form;
• obtain an indication: a) of the origin of the personal data; b) of the processing
purposes and methods; c) of the logic applied to processing done using electronic
tools; d) of the identification details of the controller, processors and representative
designated in accordance with Art. 5, paragraph 2 of the Privacy Code and Art. 3,
paragraph 1 of the GDPR; e) of the entities or categories of entities to whom the
personal data may be communicated or which may come to know of them in the
capacity of designated representative in the State territory, processors or
officers;obtain: a) the update, rectification or, if appropriate, supplementation of the
data; b) the erasure, pseudonymisation or block on data processed in violation of the
law, including those whose storage is not necessary in relation to the purposes for
which the data were collected or subsequently processed; c) certification that the
operation indicated in letters a) and b) have been brought to the attention, also as
regards their content, of those to whom the data has been communicated or
disseminated, except where that fulfilment is found to be impossible or involves a use
of means manifestly disproportionate to the protected right;
• object, in whole or in part: a) for legitimate reasons to the processing of personal data
relating to you, even if pertinent to the purpose of the collection; b) to the processing
of personal data relating to you for the purposes of sending advertising material or
direct sales or for the completion of market research or commercial communication,
using automated call systems without an operator by e-mail and/or by traditional
marketing methods by telephone and/or post. The data subject's right of objection,
illustrated in point b) above, for direct marketing purposes by way of automated
methods, extends to traditional methods and this is subject to the possibility for the
data subject to exercise the right of objection even only partly. Therefore, the data
subject may decide to receive only communications by traditional methods or only
automated communications or neither of the two types of communication.
Where applicable, you also have the rights indicated in Articles 16-21 GDPR (Right to
rectification, right to erasure, right to restriction of processing, right to data portability,
right to object), as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.

You may at any time exercise the rights by sending:
• a recorded delivery letter with notice of receipt to the Processing Controller,
SCOTSMAN ICE Srl, with registered office in Via Lainate, no. 31 – Pogliano Milanese
• an e-mail to the address

This Website and the Services of the Controller are not intended for minors aged below 18
and the Controller does not intentionally collect personal information relating to minors. If
information on minors is involuntarily registered, the Controller will promptly erase it, at
the request of users.

The Controller reserves the right to change, update, add or remove parts of this privacy
policy at its discretion and at any time. The data subject is required to check periodically
any changes. In order to facilitate that check, the privacy policy will give an indication of
the date of policy update. Use of the website, after the changes are published, will infer
acceptance of the same.

The Processing Controller, in accordance with the cited regulation, is SCOTSMAN ICE
Srl, with registered office in Via Lainate, no. 31 – Pogliano Milanese (MI), in the person of
its acting legal representative.
The Processor, in accordance with the cited regulation, is the IT consultancy company
instructed by the processing Controller to administrate the website and to update it.
The updated list of processors and processing officers is stored at the headquarters of
